Privacy Concerns
I have not shared my location with this app, and I have notifications turned off, yet I still received a notification telling me I was near a Yochi store.
How is that even possible? If the app doesn’t have permission to access my location or send notifications, it should not be able to infer where I am or contact me in this way.
This raises serious privacy concerns and completely undermines my trust in the app. The developers need to explain exactly how this happened and what data is being collected behind the scenes.

WHAT A JOKE
Southland Yo-Chi QR code doesn’t even work. Verification link doesn’t work. App developer must be doing a terrific job!! Piss app!!
Can’t even access the app
Can’t even register as a user. Try click on the verification link and keep receiving an error “verification failed unknown error”. No next steps
Birthday not working
when setting a birthday, the app relays the birthdays off of the current date

I only have Gmails and I have tried log in with two different gmails and double checked and Yo-Chi never sends a code or anything so I can’t even use the app

Whoever made this app probably doesn’t use the app. It’s terrible to say the least. Found it very difficult the verify account and there are no offers in the offer section!! What’s the point other than basic earn and a very clunky experience. No thanks.

Gather personal data with no permission
Every time I’m close to a yochi store, there is a notification. They manage to bypass any data sharing limitations, and differently from any other app in the store, you cannot disable location or notification in the settings. Absolutely disgusting how they worked to gather your information without your approvals or disabled all possibilities to safeguard yourself.

The authentication code never sends so it is impossible to log in to begin with. I’ve checked my spam.

my whole family are massive YO-CHI fans! we love seeing all the new merchandise, new toppings, earning points to get a free yo-chi, and new decor every couple of months! the employees are so kind and special towards us, also very respectful! whenever my kids have a bad day i treat them to yo-chi, and they always return to the table smiling ear to ear! we have been customers since yo-chi came to coogee, NSW, and when they brought out the app we were so happy! i got my daughter the jaguar bear for her birthday last year and she brought it to school with her and her friends loved it!! we love the mango and strawberry swirl, and of course a good choccie! my kids ask every day after school “can we pleaseeeeeee go to yo-chi??? 🥺” and i need to cave in because honestly, i crave it too! they love collecting points to get free ones and rewards, one time we got 20 points so they both could have a free cup! we are actually obsessed and this app was so helpful! thanks yo-chi!! 💗💗💗

It never sent out the email… Also if the app is already asking for the mobile number at sign up, why can’t we just do everything over SMS???
