Terrible app, slow, doesn’t work
I used this app during a recent trip to Mauritius. The app is slow to load, every search takes too long. I am at a busy shopping centre and I can’t hail a taxi.

We used the app to organize a transfer by taxi to a nearby town- everything went well and the driver was very nice.
We booked in advance (evening before we wanted to do the trip) no problem at all!

App is crap
This app is crap. I tried thrice to use the app, including re-downloading it, but I never received an OTP. Either by sms or by e-mail. (Yes, I checked all possibilities.)
So I tried sending an e-mail message to Support. Twice. The message simply doesn’t go through.

Suggestion
One idea: when the driver sends a message, no notification appears to alert the passenger. So you do not know about the message unless you happen to navigate to the messaging section.
Stealing money
I ordered twice taxi on Mauritius and two times for 8 HOURS they didn’t find any car. This app charge money from card immediately , when you ordered taxi. When I checked app gave me money back ON MY CARD, it was only minus. You CANT transfer money from account to the card. my money still inside account. I’ll never in my life will go to Mauritius and use this taxi, so it means I’ll never use my money inside this account. Support doesn’t answer. So I’m NOT recommending it, save your money

Best travel app for Mauritius
I was really worried when arriving in Mauritius for the first time, I was preparing myself to be taken advantage of by the local Taxi drivers. I found Yugo and it was simple and easy to schedule a lift from the airport, the driver was on time and was very professional. I am now preparing to bring my family for a holiday and I’ll be using Yugo in the future.

Die App ist in der Theorie super. Jedoch im Doing kompletter Müll.
Wenn man ein Taxi buchen möchte, ist das nur möglich wenn eines in der Nähe ist.
Also bei uns nie ... das heißt die App ist nicht nutzbar.
Das selbe gilt für das buchen eines Mietwagens. Die Tage und Uhrzeiten sind nicht wählbar.. somit auch hier unbrauchbar.
Wir haben im Hotel Preise genannt bekommen die mehr als doppelt so hoch sind wie hier in der App.. wie kann das sein? Stimmen die Preise hier in der App?

Team Yugo was a lifesaver for us in Mauritius when we had a hard time getting out of the hotel due to a cyclone. They were instantly responsive and a live person chatted with me on whatsapp to make sure I got the taxi immediately and the pickup was accurate. Very courteous and friendly.

Visiting mauritius for the first time, I was struck at how expensive and unreliable taxis were - in fact, transport was a significant cost on our trip. YuGo is cheaper, more reliable and more efficient way to get around. The app works great and the team is able to connect with you via WhatsApp! Very very happy with the app and highly recommended!
