I’m really liking this app because I feel like I missed a lot while in school. My ADHD made it hard to focus and I had a hard time learning when I felt pressured to interact with others. I’m excited to get my kids into it as well.
Bait and switch
They offer a trial where they promise they’ll give you a reminder before they charge for the subscription. Nope, no reminder and $80 charge.

I was super excited to try this app. Just to refresh my general knowledge. I accepted the two week FREE trial deal because I want to test something out before I buy it. And they instantly charged my card $47! Then wouldn’t allow me to do the FREE trial because I didn’t have 50 bucks in my account! Not happy!

It’s difficult to differentiate between the answer wanted—by mainstream science or history—and the answer that is the actual truth. But it’s a great test of my understanding either way—mind you I’ve indulged for all of 20 minutes so far—so far.
You know it’s really good. It’s a good history learning thing.
I give it a force review I recommend getting it. You may have to pay for it, but it’s worth it to help your memory about the history cause now not many people wanna learn about history, but this is a fun way too for adults and older kids

I like this app. But stop asking me if I want to pay money. I have to go through a process every single time I finish a lesson. It’s quite annoying.
Surface-Level Ai generated content
All the quiz questions are something a middle-schooler would know accompanied by low-effort Ai generated images. Extremely disappointing when historical images and references are readily available. Very much seems like a cash grab.

Ads for the subscription popped up so much, I didn’t even want to give it a chance.

This app claims to give you a 14 day free trial and won’t charge you the annual subscription fee until the end of the 14 days. I went ahead and tried it and as soon as I hit confirm, it charged me $40. And the app itself is pretty mid. The “trivia” is pretty much second grade level questions.

I hate when the app is free but then you have to pay to even use the app. I was so excited to use it until it showed me that I had to pay.

No free version, only paid, asking $100 upfront for an app that is objectively worth 0$ with info available all over the internet for free. The most you should charge for this is free+ads. Any ai can compile random facts from the internet for free, this is not a valuable service, why don't you sell single slices of bread for $100 each as well?
