It works fine..
Everyone saying there’s no where to put your mturk ID didn’t actually go through the whole explanation. The app works fine, I put in my ID, and I got paid 🤷🏻♀️
Not working as intended
Had to return a HIT because the app has not and will not, despite deleting it and reinstalling, ask for Turk ID. It also doesn’t scan the area and allow hologram placement so no reason to keep going with it! It’s a shame as it looked really neat to fiddle with other wise.
Not working
I received an offer from BJ’s and was asked to use this app to scan the ZapCode. The app opens and seems scanning the code and beeping… but it doesn’t read the code 🤔 under “recents” it says unknown and clicking on it doesn’t do anything. The app isn’t working
Cannot scan
This app cannot scan codes. Period.
Tried many different ones and never works. Looks like expect the code to fill the entire camera field of view.

Zappa studio is a great tool once you understand what is going on. However, there isn’t an acceptable amount of support from their support team between emails and forum posts.
iOS 14 is bugged and unusable for webAR. It’s been over a month since anyone had responded regarding the issue. To summarize what they said, “we are aware and addressing the issue. You can send you project to us so we can look at the issue further.”
No I don’t want to send my project to you. The last time I tried to get an issue fixed, I received documentation I already read and is out of date. Told to follow instructions with no instructions, “I referred to the documentation. Just follow it.”
I’ve worked tech support. When were vague instructions to follow old instructions and no screen caps to your support tickets ever helpful?
Update: George is one of the worst support technicians I’ve worked with and would recommend to request or resubmit your support ticket under a new email.

Amazing!
This is great! Very easy to use and how the illustrations come to life is fantastic. Our 3 year old daughter loves it how interactive it is. Very surprised to read the review on how this needs a lot of work - only work I could suggest is to do another book! Great idea and the story is great too!

The pictures keep disappearing when they are zapped and are not that detailed or of great quality even when you do manage to get them on screen
Also not many objects even have zap barcode things so your options are very limited
Like I said this was a good idea but don’t waste your time as this really does need some serious work done

Cool, but..
Sometimes the app tells me I'm not connected to WiFi or data even though I am. Does it have something to do with the widgets?
Scan problems
Was so hopeful but Zapper app won’t scan ANY barcodes. My normal QR Barcode reader scans them all fine telling me album details. Come on Zapper, even removed cover from case but no help 😕

Might be useful if your life is all digital, maybe. I would suggest privacy/security has more value than this app.
Had seen an add that suggested downloading so you could Zap the add. After doing so figured out you must allow access to devises folders via camera just to open the app. Without allowing access when you open Zap app it goes back to home screen.
Spoke to the biz when there explaining my reservations and suggested other less intrusive apps might reach a broader audience. I got the coupon without Zapping, if course.
