Door thing doesn’t work
Tells you having a default card is required to open the door. Doesn’t work even with a card registered in the app. Absolute trash of an app.

More expensive than the physical kiosks
Registration was not quick and easy. The parking sign said Apple Pay is an option on this app but registration still requires a credit card input and you cannot skip the step. The worst part is that this app charges around 50 cents convenience fee and if you use the physical kiosks, it doesn’t. So physical kiosks are cheaper.

Faulty app fails to send alert and timer top up option
I took my baby nephew to the Vancouver Aquarium lot#62 in Zone#3696. I tried multiple cards to purchase parking, however the machine wouldn’t accept any of my cards. I had to purchase through Zipby. They charged me more, but I was managing with an infant and needed to get out of the rain. So I paid the extra charge for one hour with Zipby. Fully trusting the Zipby app to send me an alert when the parking was about to expire. After viewing a few exhibits with the baby. I opened the app to check if I needed to add more time. However, the ticket purchase or time was nowhere to be found on the app. The app did not show the purchase or an option to add more time. In a panic I cut the visit short, but my nephew needed a diaper change. I quickly changed his diaper and we rushed out to the car to find a parking fine for $70 and if not paid immediately it would go up to $130. After spending $100+ just to visit the Aquarium for less than an hour I also have to pay $130 additional because ZipBy broke customer trust. The app was set to send and alert to notify me to avoid this happening. The app was supposed to allow me to find the ticket purchase and add more time. I will never use Zipby app ever again, and I will be disputing the fine.

It’s like they make it difficult to do anything on purpose
The app can’t do autofill, it can’t split the auto filled card number into their four fields. There is no SSO. No password security validation. And main issue - no way to pay for the car parked. There is no instructions and the UI isn’t helpful. Just a useless convoluted mess of an app.

Takes forever to figure out lies that you can use interact , and ive gotten tickets after ive supposedly paid my parking -IT SUCKS .

I just want to park and get on
with my day. Who has time to sit in a parking garage, having no other way to pay but by downloading an app that REQUIRES creating a username, REQUIRES adding vehicle details, REQUIRES adding payment info! Make that optional and add a one-time pay-and-go option on web - no app & user registration! Ridiculous! I will avoid these lots intentionally!

to download a whole app to park once is ridiculous. paybyphone has at least a website, i don’t want want to download an app to park once
Horrible app horrible experience
One of the most insane and frustrating apps to try to create an account for in my life. No auto fill, dodgy payment methods, your credit card doesn’t support Apple Pay, you have to enter the number, but four digits per box so you have to keep going back-and-forth to your wallet to see it. Then the eight dollar parking turns out to be $60. Avoid!

Couldn’t get it to work
Followed instructions re: settings, got nothing. Asks for a “Zone” couldn’t find via app or anywhere else. Even searched YouTube for a help video but all were 5+ years old and useless. I refuse to contact support because it just shouldn’t be so difficult… Asked around at work (even our IT people), everyone said the same thing: not worth the trouble. After two frustrating weeks I gave up and deleted.

Terrible app
What an irritating app. The worst I’ve experienced. Buggy, needlessly confusing, obtrusive and obnoxious.
Extremely broken UX
This app has literally one job and it doesn’t even autocomplete, let alone allow me to copy and paste a credit card number properly? How did this even get approved?

The app was better in previous versions. It used to have an automatic billing for the parking location. Now they make you take extra steps to pay. When they changed the app it was not well communicated which led to a parking ticket
