Too many pop up Ads
They recently added ads that you can’t skip to even access your cameras. It’s become a huge security issue because I can’t open my cameras quick enough at times. Finding a replacement.

I have had these cameras for over 8 years. Loved the app. It worked perfect until they decided to add these stupid adds! Please remove the adds pop ups! I just want to view my cameras and not have to click X 50 times just to view. Really considering changing my cameras just bc of this

I hope the Leaders of this App that invented these Ads gets fired!!! So ridiculous. I canceled my subscription and i’m sure i’m not the only one. Not paying $5 a month for an app i can hardly ever even access because you get nothing but Ads when you first open the app and when you refresh you just get more ads. I can’t even see what’s going on because i can’t get my video to pull up because of the Ads so what’s the point in even having the camera? Switching to a different company.

Can’t even use see the system because of adds
Had a potential emergency threat outside of the home and could not access the cameras because the ads kept popping up. Can’t skip or get thru them. Been a paid subscriber and user since 2016.
Do not buy these cameras or app. It’s a scam. I’m making the switch for the safety of my family.

what happened
used to be a reliable app. now it’s SLAMMED with ads! i cant even get to my camera and i need to! customer service was also no help. horrible experience. i’ll be getting new cameras

This company is on the verge of failing. I recommend purchasing cameras elsewhere.

I used Zmodo for years, now that they added ads, it takes too long to see what is happening, or what has already happened! Bad business move in my opinion, will never be using them again. I hear Xfinity has good cameras

I can’t even login to see my security cameras without seeing ads first I hope I don’t ever run into an emergency. This is terrible the worse.
ADS ADS everywhere - No matter how much you spend with them you get ADS
Been using them for years at $300 yearly for cameras at my businesses and home. Service was fine tech fine. Works consistently. The. Ads started showing up. Cancelled all service and went free. Why would i pay you to be advertised to? Who ever made the decision to post ads to your paying customers is a moron.

Ads make it not worth it
I purchased my 1st camera in 2020 and have since purchased 4 additional to add to. I haven’t had any issues with the cameras they are great. It’s the stupid ads. Why if I bought the cameras do I have to watch an ad to get to my camera view??? The ads alone make we want to buy a whole new camera system.

The ads have to go!
I used to love my cameras and app. Instant access to my front door cameras, driveway cameras and back yard cameras and ever since the app updated to open the app and look at the cameras is a 6-8 minute process until I finally give up or shut down the app 15-18 times. 95% of the time I give up. Keep in mind I HAVE A PAID ACCOUNT and still slammed with pop up ads and when I try to hit the X is still takes me to the App Store. I can’t wait to rip these off my house, my buildings and properties and run them over with my truck. You guys RUINED a great product. Whom ever is in charge of marketing should be fired and locked in jail. My account is cancelled as of this post and when my already paid account runs out I have already denied scheduled payment Great way to run a product. Anyone thinking to buy these stay far away!

Absolute Garbage Now!
This app used to be pretty good, now it is just one continuous ad that you can’t get past to even see your cameras. Zmodo please do not respond like you have to all the other complaints “we understand ads can be….” This is a complaint about the app YOUR COMPANY BROKE! So fix it not just issue the same platitudes over and over again! That shows a real lack of respect for your customers!

With the introduction of these un-skippable ads. You have eliminated the usefulness of your app. what used to be a very extremely useful tool for ensuring the security at my home has been eliminated to a waiting game of watching ads that I have no interest in to be able to see what’s outside my home. I will be getting rid of all of these cameras and getting something new. Thanks!

Ads are too much
The ads take too long to get through. If you have an emergency and need to check your cameras you have to wait to get through their ads. Shopping for cameras from companies that don’t need to add ads to their app.
