Whoever is responsible for these endless ads needs to be fired immediately. Haven’t been able to look at my cameras in 4 days and counting. All I see are ads. Fire everyone immediately. Absolute trash.

Literally it’s ads and ads and ads. You get an alert and you get ads and then once you get to see the alert it’s so laggy. It like they made the ads just to make it seem it’s working instantly but even after these ads it’s still stuck. I pay the premium cloud service and this is totally unacceptable. DO NOT UPDATE

ZMODO was great until..
you guessed it. The ads. I started with three cameras. One was accidentally disconnected. Contacted customer support but to no avail, couldn’t get the QR code to scan. Fast forward to the second camera, I changed my WiFi and couldn’t get that one to scan the QR code. Last but not least, rhe 3rd camera is still up and running no problem. But now, I have to wait until the ads finish to check my footage or check the live stream. So this September I will not be renewing my subscription. Thanks for the years ZMODO

I bought my Zmodo camera system when they didn't have the cloud ripoff method in place. They have been trying to lure me into the cloud now for years, and since I never took them up on it, then every time I wanted to look at my camera system I had the watch ads.
Now one ad won't allow me to have access to my camera system.
They literally killed the system because I wouldn't let them change the model that they agreed to provide when I bought the system

They ruined it
The app used to work great, but the motion detection was meh. They added ADs during the last update and now it’s terrible. These are security cameras, when I get an alert, I don’t want to have to sit through 2 ADs to see what is going on especially if I’m not there.
Ads and more ada
This new update is absolutely horrendous. I have to click the X on as many as 5 ads before being able to view the cameras. Should never have updated this app! Shame on Zmodo.
Unusable
They have placed ads you have to watch before you can actually USE THE CAMERA, but now they have REMOVED THE BUTTON to continue to the app. It just stays on the stupid ad page forever. Useless. Do not use this product unless you love never seeing what’s being captured by your useless cameras.

I’ve used Zmodo cameras for over a decade and forcing customers to watch full ads before accessing their own security footage is completely unacceptable.
This is a security app. If I get an alert or need to check my home, access should be immediate—not delayed by an advertisement.
I’ve contacted Zmodo twice, and they apparently have no intention of reconsidering this “feature.”
Ads should never take priority over security. Zmodo should be embarrassed by this decision.

Stop the Ads
If we needed to check out cameras for an emergency, or if we need to communicate with someone in a pinch from our cameras, your 20 second ads are getting in the way. Very frustrating experience.
ADS non stop!
I PAY! for these cameras and still have to click in and out of ads for 5 minutes to even view a camera. Complete waste of time and money I will be switching this month. Ring cameras $100 a year and ZERO ADS

I reinstall my system with other cams. The ads they added could lead to severe consequences to your safety.

Imagine paying for cameras then subscribing to the paid services and still having ads. it’s an emergency and you need to check your cameras and you need to wait for all the ads to pass. you click the X after it’s done to continue but you’re routed to the app store to download a third party game. please remove ads for paying customers.

This app is going to cause a lawsuit or worse, these are security cameras. While trying to locate someone on the property, you have to go through all these adds. By that time the intruder is already broken in. This app is complete garbage

Ads
Have used these cameras for a long time with good success. After an update recently you have to try to cancel a bunch of ads just to view cameras. Wouldn’t recommend
Ads ruined it
There is too many ads that it’s difficult to get to the feed. Also had an explicit banner ad and gaming downloads. This was not a good idea to add this! Give us the old version.
Ads when paying.
I understand having ads for customers that do not pay a monthly subscription but to still have ads when I am paying is just annoying. Going to be getting new cameras.
