Zola made it so easy for me to plan my own wedding and stay organized. I hosted a two event wedding with totally different needs and guest lists and was able to stay organized and on track during my wedding planning process
Do NOT use their registry
Zolas website is fine and RSVP, guest list tracker, etc are all good but oh my gosh DO NOT use their registry. Infuriating and it is NOT user friendly for guests. I’m so dissatisfied with it and sad that i didn’t realize sooner.
Zola Wedding Planning
Zola has been really helpful for registry, website, and seating chart. I do work the registry paired better some items on amazon have never appeared on Zola.
Great app
The app is easy to use and convenient for when I don’t want to use my laptop. Minimal to no glitches.
Seating Chart
Could only seat 15 guests on the seating chart. Was the only real benefit of the app vs the website and they make you pay to seat more than 15 guests. Was not advertised as such.
Missing addresses
They only printed addresses for about 30% of my guests and the rest are blank so we have to hand write them and have them look terrible.
Regret
Zola made us wait for the funds to process in the cash fund then another ten days for it to become available. Don't use Zola
Not Ideal
Much better products exist that do not push political beliefs on you, would recommend those.
Not very user friendly!
It’s frustrating to get the guests invites sent.
I don’t like minimum registry requirement and you can’t just have your own cash fund.
Just wish it was easier to navigate. The other frustrating thing is you have to have an apple to have the app

Premium just to use seating chart?
Pay to add use the seating chart feature? Are you kidding? Just use a pen and paper, don’t waste your time or money.
Linking registry
Will not let me link Target registry. Says it’s linked but it is not.
Help me out!
My fiance isn’t able to use this app on android. Total bummer!
Small wedding
Great site for keeping track of registry and countdown.
I had a small wedding and I didn’t need most of the amenities on the app. So i did not get to utilize most of them however site and app are on the easier side to navigate.
What I didn’t like was the constant vendor notifications. I didn’t need that are of the app and I wish I could have turned that off.
Could be slightly easier to use or customize for smaller weddings. But over all a good app.

Gold Standard Wedding App
the contact collector and ability to download that info to excel or google sheets was immensely useful to me in sending save the dates and invites. that alone is 5/5 AND I love my wedding website. Endless customization ability and user friendly builder tools. I did not use every feature of Zola, for example didn't use for a prenup, honeymoon nor a reception dress.

Unreliable
I ordered stationary samples for wedding invitations 2 times. They took forever to arrive and the shipping tracking was never accurate. When it finally arrived, the paper was beautiful but this is too important to take chances on. The customer service team is a joke. They are unhelpful at best. While placing my wedding, I used other websites at the same time and Zola was the worst. The features and organization are lacking. Try something else.

Find Another Planner - do not go here!
This has been absolute torture using Zola. Where to start? All their “help” is about registry and vendors, their focus is not helping you keep track of guests or preparing invitations. For the invitations, I could not change the fonts for the envelopes, could not find where to edit a typo at the top of the website (it wasn’t in heading or banner) but in settings. Trying to enter meal options for RSVP replies requires going into two different pages, and there is no welcome to the RSVP page when guests find your website. Then you have the issue of adding guests. So I downloaded their template, adjusted the column widths so I could read what I was typing, saved the excel file in their requested format and tried to upload my list - but it failed! Time and again, it would not load! So I manually entered the names and details of all my guests. When I went to review the pre addressed envelopes to send the invitations, they were a disaster and those had to be manually corrected. If I was not so far down the line, I would scrap Zola and find another provider. I am praying my guests can rsvp and that Zola can give me accurate headcounts, names and menu choices. I did not need a registry, partners or other things they try to sell you. Trying to work with my partner, we cannot work individually because they want to send an email confirmation to the main party to let you into your own account. So when he is 3 hours away in a different time zone, I can’t get into our wedding because they send him a code to enter via email. Zola is a nightmare and not user friendly. Delete and look elsewhere.

I’m so frustrated
I have been emailing Zola for days because after having issues for the past year planning my wedding, now I can’t even properly use the guest messaging feature I’ve paid for.i can’t even press recipients without an error coming up. When they responded, it was AI because twice I explained the situation and they said: what message did you send and to who in a whole thing. I told them I can’t even pick a person to send a message to..
I honestly don’t know if half my reminder messages went to everyone during the past year and some people would know about things and some wouldn’t.
ALSO they definitely bought ratings recently because I saw it last week and it was 2 or 3 stars.. should have screenshotted.
One last thing because I’m so annoyed.. they don’t have a call number and are hiding behind the AI answering their emails.
I honestly don’t know if half my reminder messages went to everyone during the past year and some people would know about things and some wouldn’t.

SUPPORT NEEDED
The app has been randomly kicking me out. I can no longer use the app to login. It just says contact support from more help but I’ve contacted you, but I’ve heard nothing from anyone. I can’t login anymore. My website is now down. All the pictures I uploaded are gone. Your registry is live, but I’m not using your registry. Everything has been sabotage. I am less than 90 days out for my wedding and I really need access to this because I put everything on your site without this, I am literally dead in the water. I need someone to respond.
