. someone once helped me correct an error in connecting to a group meeting. otherwise i would have missed the meeting. its still a mystery to me, and i cant go seeking people to help me set up a meeting.
apparently/ supposedly its easy for some who use it from work place through whatever software of email services they use, but i hate it. if that's what you need i dont how to use it. Unfortunately, i am needing services from people who use this blasted app, which i honestly dont know how to use. (once you know, well yes, you know, but i do not).

Always making the meeting
When you’re always on the go, Zoom covers you. Makes your presence known even without being in the zoom.

The new update on the zoom app was supposed to improve the experience when using the app. But unfortunately, the new feature on the chat has made it very difficult to keep track of everyone that’s in the zoom meeting. The chat area has the “Everyone” button which kept track of participants and the order they entered the meeting. This was a great feature that helped us keep track and organize conversations, and participants.

Can’t even log in correctly
It logs you in as a browser like interface but to use the app you have to close out of it so many wasted clicks

Zoom needs to fix sending SMS to short codes. Receiving works, outgoing texts to confirm appointments among other things does not.

Mirror Video Still Broken
When Mirror My Video used to be turned on in prior versions, the orientation of both the rear camera and the selfie camera would be the same, as in I pan left, the camera also goes left. Now when I switch back-and-forth from the rear camera to the selfie camera, I have to toggle Mirror My Video on and off over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. When I turn it on for one camera, it should stand to reason that I definitely want it to remain on for the other camera. Not very intuitive for it to be otherwise. Not sure why the setting was changed back in recent versions, but it seriously and negatively affects user experience. Please change back. As I run meetings wherein I frequently switch front and back cameras, for my purposes this makes Zoom the practical equivalent of junk. Switched to Google Meet.

Incoming calls
The ability to send incoming calls to voicemail is very valuable. Other platforms will interpret the current conversation or bump it off when in hold status while you choose a message to send the incoming call.
Unintuitive, incorrect instructions
Zoom has the worst support system of any app I have been on. They have instructional pages about how to set up features or recover recordings, but they are blatantly false. Pages they direct you to don’t exist, the interface gets updated and the support information doesn’t, and their platform is so unintuitive it is impossible to figure out on your own. The only way I have been able to use certain features I pay for is by going onto a deep subreddit thread made by someone who’s run into the same issues as me. Processes that should take 15 minutes take hours. Zoom is good for a real-time meeting, but for any other feature (recordings, VOIP, etc), I beg you to use ANY other platform.

Repeatedly unable to log in
Despite help from two colleagues, my account details won’t work and I’ve missed two meetings. The details used to work. They just aren’t being recognised now.
