The call

The clearest difference is rating: PowerView at 4.4 against iChef CT's 2.0. PowerView also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 4). iChef CT's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

PowerView holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PowerView has 2.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of PowerView's written reviews are positive against 33% of iChef CT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
