Easy to Use
I have an Iphone and App loaded smoothly and instructions were not burdensome. Excited to use it!
It’s just okay
So the thermometer itself is great. You’d think that you wouldn’t need to spend much on a thermometer but when you cook or bake, too little or too much heat can ruin the creation you’re making. With cheaper thermometers, I’ve noticed they can be off by a degree or two. I love that this thermometer is white too haha. It’s so pretty. Now the app, this app is your very, very basic app.
Pros:
The app is very simplistic. There’s 12 presets for candy and 9 presets for deep frying. From jelly to chocolate to French fries and tempura veggies. It’s nice to not have to look up the different temps online because they are right there for you.
Connection is very easy. You just press the button on your thermometer and choose it from the list when you open the app. No signing up for anything, just simple.
I love that you can see the temperature at the top on your app. If you have to run to the restroom while you’re cooking, you’re able to keep a close eye on the temperature.
Cons:
I don’t like that you have to connect the thermometer every single time you open the app. There’s no auto connect function and it doesn't remember your thermometer. Yes, it’s very easy to do but it’s just about convenience. In the world of bakers, convenience is essential. Please add an auto connect function so that I can just open the app and I’m ready to go.
There is no way to add personal presets or to edit the existing ones. I do love that there are presets loaded however, I don’t fry foods in oil so all of those slots are useless to me. I also don’t like white chocolate and so on. It would be really awesome if we could personalize this thermometer to our needs. With how expensive this thermometer is, the company should make it so that we are able to change the presets. It doesn't take that much to add that feature to the app and I do feel you should invest the time to do this for your consumers since once again, I spent $85 on this thermometer. The reason I purchased it was because I love the fact that it had an app and all of these amazing presets so I thought it would be worth spending the money on. Imagine my surprise when I downloaded the app and realized there was very little to work with. I hope you guys take the time to upgrade this app.

No manual setting!
There is no manual setting for this thermometer, making it basically worthless ! Most preset items listed in a group are at the same temperature setting. If a different temperature is needed, a constant tap of up or down arrows is necessary. The thermometer and app need to allow for numeric temperature input. The thermometer purchase wasn’t worth the price and it can only be used with this app
