Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: LiquidFiles at 100% against UniFi's 47%. LiquidFiles also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). UniFi's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

UniFi ships an update fortnightly, LiquidFiles every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
