Verdict
Rainbow Shops and Torrid both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Rainbow Shops's written reviews are positive against 36% of Torrid's. Rainbow Shops also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Torrid's advantage is ratings volume (141K vs 42K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
