Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: MyLebara at 4.6 against MidTown Cinemas's 4.1. MyLebara also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 11). MidTown Cinemas's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MyLebara holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyLebara has 10K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of MyLebara's written reviews are positive against 67% of MidTown Cinemas's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MyLebara ships an update monthly, MidTown Cinemas every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
