Lebara makes roaming so easy.
I visit Canada several times a year and need instant signal at the airport I just tap into roaming when I am leaving and I am connected when I arrive.
Excellent provider
Great service at a reasonable price. Includes EU roaming as standard and is reasonably priced for roaming add ins outside the EU.

WiFi outage so using data. Message that I’m nearly out of data so topped up with £5. On 27/6/26 @ 23:50 approximately. Bank shows money out but NO DATA . Topped up again on 30/6/26 £3. Have to go to my son’s house to use his WiFi. NOT VERY HAPPY

Top up Credit on plans
Had auto top set up but guess what the top is to top up data on standard plans, not the plan im on!!! Why have auto top up
Impossible app
The Lebara app is impossible to use. It repeatedly requires a change of password which it then rejects and around the circle we go again getting absolutely nowhere.
Terrible customer service
Person did not listen. I asked for his name and he confirmed he would text me his name as I wanted to make an official complaint. He did not text me his name. I am going to cancel my contract and move to another provider who has customer service.
Really easy to use
I really like the app, it makes it incredibly easy to change plans, or to buy additional data where needed. No fuss, you just press a button and it’s done.
Hopeless customer support!
Fine until you get a problem and have to deal with customer support! They will literally say and write anything you want and do nothing. It’s so poor. When it gets difficult and they are caught out lying they’ll simply end the call. Simply dreadful.

Problem
I was in Tuscany for 10 days and supposedly had a 100G data allowance but after a week and with my usage at just 1.98G my data was shut off and I was forced to buy an attachment because I couldn’t use Google Maps which was vital to our travelling plans by car. Very disappointed and Lebara customer care extremely hard to get hold of when you are out of the UK.

Poor connection
The international package did not work when I visited Jeddah and I was left without any internet and unable to book a taxi. Also when your data runs out you no longer have access to the text and minutes.
It’s better to get an e Sim when you travel.
Do not use the referral links as it’s impossible to collect the money they give you as there website and instructions are not user friendly.
The internet connect in the UK is also slow and keeps dropping.

Very disappointed that I was unable to enter into a tv show contest by entering it by way of sms text . No mater how I tried it would not go . So very disappointed with that aspect of the service and also dissatisfied with trying to send a photo useing mms as that would not go

Missing Basic Feauture in 2026
Dear Lebara Team, good app overall but it’s a bit disappointing that in 2026, Lebara app users with an active plan still cannot view their Pay As You Go credit balance directly in the app, even though there is a dedicated section for it. Instead, customers have to call 5588 to check their balance.
Please consider implementing this feature. Being able to see PAYG credit within the app should be a basic functionality and would greatly improve the customer experience. I hope you will implement this ASAP.

Cancelled plan
I was sent an email yesterday to say the payment for my plan could not be collected due to the credit card having expired. I was asked to change my payment method, so I added a new credit card and change this to the default payment method. Today, I received a further email to inform me that my plan had been cancelled.
