Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Baskin at 4.3 against 85C Bakery Cafe's 2.7. Baskin also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). 85C Bakery Cafe's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Baskin holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baskin has 7.1K ratings behind it against 998, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Baskin's written reviews are positive against 15% of 85C Bakery Cafe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Baskin ships an update every 6 weeks, 85C Bakery Cafe every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
