Verdict
Pei Wei and Japan Express both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Japan Express's written reviews are positive against 40% of Pei Wei's. Japan Express also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Pei Wei's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 11) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
