The call

The clearest difference is rating: Owlet Dream at 4.6 against Neebo's 2.8. Owlet Dream also leads on ratings volume (43K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Owlet Dream holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Owlet Dream has 43K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Neebo's written reviews are positive against 17% of Owlet Dream's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Neebo ships an update every 2 months, Owlet Dream fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
