Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ParkingOps at 5.0 against NCP's 4.3. ParkingOps also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). NCP's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ParkingOps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NCP has 95 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of ParkingOps's written reviews are positive against 12% of NCP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
