Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen at 4.8 against We Deliver!'s 2.0. Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 4). We Deliver!'s advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 35%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen has 5.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of We Deliver!'s written reviews are positive against 35% of Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
We Deliver! ships an update every 18 months, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
