There isn’t a single way to communicate that you never received your food. Through the uber website that they use to deliver the food or the cheddars app
Broken Waitlist
Waitlist does not update on app consistently. Still had to walk in the restaurant to hold my spot. All apps and software are up to date on phone. Shouldn’t use this in the application if it’s not going to work.
Painful
It does not remember your previous address used, have to enter it each time. Every order action signs you up again for the newsletter that you have to jump through hoops to unsubscribe.
Why not just tell me how many strips?
Google ai says the No. 8 special comes with 8 strips but everyone else says 4. Why don't you just write 4 wimpy strips on the menu?

App won’t accept credit cards
Tried placing an order with a Discover and Visa card, neither would work. The app does not give any clear indication what the problem is or anything useful.
Double check in
Ap used to work fine. But the last couple of visits, after joining the wait list, I get checked in twice and receive no text updates until after we are seated at the table.
App is broken
App simply doesnt work. Everytime I open it it just says “Oops”.
Overcharges
This app automatically adds a tip but conveniently makes it so you can’t see that in the final screen before ordering for pickup. I didn’t see the overcharge for my pickup order until I checked my email. I decide if I want to tip for a pickup order. Will never order again.
Apple Pay always has problems.
This app seems to always have problems using Apple Pay as a payment method. It worked before, but after the a recent update, it always fails. Can the developers please fix this?
Usual chef must have been off yesterday.
My friend and I eat at the Longview Tx location almost weekly and always enjoy it. But yesterday we ordered our usual fall off the bone ribs and they weren’t as tasty as usual. It seemed like they weren’t cooked long enough and it was difficult to get the meat off the bones. And there was a whole layer of fat right under the bbq sauce. Usually they are so tender and we look forward to taking part of them home to enjoy later but yesterday was an exception and we probably won’t eat the rest of them. Sorry for this bad review but they just weren’t as good as we’ve had in the past. We will go back tho as it’s a place where we really enjoy eating.

What’s going on with the Cheddar’s app?
I really enjoy the food and atmosphere at Cheddar’s. The last two or three times I’ve tried to order food on the app, I get a screen that says, “Oops!” and nothing else. The app used to work so beautifully. It was convient to order o. the app and stop by to pick up food on the way through town. I have deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. That hasn’t helped.

Creepy new invasive “feature!”
I’ve had the Cheddar’s, Olive Garden, and Longhorn Steakhouse apps installed for awhile so I can order from them easily. This was fine until the devs installed an annoying and creepy new “feature” with the latest update. All of a sudden anytime I clicked on a phone number from a website, app, or even from my contacts list - Cheddars, Olive Garden, and Longhorn Steakhouse suddenly showed up in this menu! They aren’t even in my contacts list! I DO NOT want to see their names pop up when I’m just trying to call my friends or a phone number for a business on a website. This is absolutely invasive, controlling, and ridiculous! I tried turning off multiple settings and the only way I could get rid of them was to delete the apps. Unfortunately this didn’t completely remove them - now the drop down menu says “phone phone phone” where their names used to be. So my call drop down menu has been permanently maimed by these apps! I’m reporting the apps to Apple and will never frequent these restaurants again - they’ve lost a customer! Invasive and unwelcome marketing!

Curbside Ordering Needs to be Fixed!
On 01/12/24, we tried to place a curbside order, but the app kept saying there was some sort of issue and the order was not processed. We thought maybe it was because my boyfriend used his card on my app account, so we switched to my card…still gave us errors. We decided to order from another restaurant. The Cheddars order didn’t show up in the “recent orders”, nor did we receive a text or email about an order. But about 20min after all this, we receive a text saying our order will be ready to pick up. Meanwhile, still no history/confirmation of said order in app and still didn’t receive the normal email we receive with orders. As a matter of fact, the items we were trying to order were still in the cart. The restaurant is supposed to issue a refund, obviously not the location’s fault. But whoever is in charge of the app needs to get it fixed!!

App doesn’t work , when you try to look up menu on google dose not work
Frustrating
The app will not let me sign in, it keeps telling me mandatoryFieldIsNullOrEmpty. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted several times. I’ve reset password and everything I can think of, no luck. Still can’t sign in!
Relocated my order…
I work in St Petersburg FL and have to drive about 1.5 hours to get home. I decided to use the app instead of calling directly. I SPECIFICALLY picked the location near my house and delayed to order to accommodate my drive home. This is done first prior to placing the order. I made my selection and paid for the meal then began my drive. Apparently the app thought in its infinite wisdom to change the location to near where I started instead of what I had chosen. I drive home and arrive at the Cheddars I selected. I parked and replied the the text letting them know I was there. I walked inside to minimize the delay only to see that my order was not therewith. I open the app and then see that the location had changed. The Cheddars at the incorrect location called looking for me. They wanted to know if I wanted to drive the 55 miles back to them and pickup the order just so I could turn around and drive the 55 miles back to my house. I told them No. I had to place an order at the new location and pay again for the same food all because the app changed the pickup location.
