Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: J Cineplex at 2.6 against DADI CINEMA's 1.0. J Cineplex also leads on ratings volume (83 vs 2). DADI CINEMA's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
J Cineplex holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: J Cineplex has 83 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of J Cineplex's written reviews are positive against 7% of DADI CINEMA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
J Cineplex ships an update every 2 months, DADI CINEMA every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
