Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WASH at 4.4 against KARR Security's 2.9. WASH also leads on ratings volume (199K vs 192) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). KARR Security's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 24%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WASH holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WASH has 199K ratings behind it against 192, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of WASH's written reviews are positive against 44% of KARR Security's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WASH ships an update every 4 weeks, KARR Security every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
