Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ChargeNode holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ChargeNode's written reviews are positive against 22% of Mer Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ChargeNode ships an update every 5 days, Mer Connect fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
