Feeling overwhelmed by your health? Bearable is the symptom tracker that helps you work out what makes your symptoms, pain, migraine and mental health better or worse, so you can feel more in control. Join over 2M patients & doctors using Bearable to manage symptoms, pain, migraine, mood, medication and mental health. FIND YOUR TRIGGERS Most people arrive with one question: what is making my symptoms worse? Log how you feel in a few taps a day, and Bearable shows the correlations between your symptoms and your sleep, food, weather, stress, medication and habits, so you know which triggers to avoid. NOT SURE WHERE TO START? No diagnosis or plan needed. Rate how you feel, add a symptom or two, and Bearable suggests what to log next as your symptom diary grows. PAIN, MIGRAINE AND HEADACHE TRACKER Record pain levels, where the pain is and how long it lasts. Log migraine frequency and severity, spot the warning signs before a migraine attack, see which migraine treatments help, and learn which triggers reliably set off your headaches. The pain tracker is used every day by people managing chronic pain, migraine, arthritis, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, joint pain and back pain. MENTAL HEALTH AND MOOD TRACKER See whether your mental health is changing over time, not just how today feels. Log mood, energy, stress, sleep and anxiety alongside what is going on in your life, and see how work, exercise, social plans and the weather shape your mental health. The mental health tracker is used by people living with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and OCD, and by anyone wanting a clearer picture of their mental health. CHRONIC ILLNESS, FATIGUE AND FLARE-UPS Log flare-ups, pain, crashes and good days to see what leads to each. Work out which activities drain you or give you energy, and give your doctor a clear record of how your chronic illness has changed. Built with people living with PoTS, EDS, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS and long covid. GUT, HORMONES AND CYCLE Log digestive symptoms, food and bathroom habits to find out which foods are behind your IBS or GERD flare-ups. See how your symptoms, pain, migraine and mood change across each phase of your cycle, useful for PCOS, PMDD, endometriosis and menstrual migraine. MEDICATION AND TREATMENTS Log medication, supplements and treatments, then see whether they are working for your pain, migraine or mental health and whether they cause side effects. The medication tracker also sets reminders so you never miss a dose or a diary entry. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE Symptoms, pain, migraine, mood, medication, exercise and diet in one health tracker, so you can find useful patterns instead of switching between apps. - Fully customisable: record exactly what matters to you - Insights that show what correlates with your symptoms - Reports that turn months of symptom, pain and mental health logs into actionable insights - Sync steps, sleep and heart rate from Apple Health and Fitbit - Reminders, secure export, restore across devices, dark mode PRIVATE AND SECURE Your health data is encrypted. Export or delete it from within the app at any time. We will never sell your data. MADE BY PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND Created by people who live with health issues themselves, shaped by thousands of members of the chronic illness community. Our aim is to make symptom tracking simple, even on days when fatigue, pain, migraine or brain fog make everything harder. PMDDly — The Companion for Life With PMDD PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) isn't "bad PMS." It's a real, diagnosable condition that can turn the two weeks before your period into a fight for your life. PMDDly was built by and for people who live this — to help you track it, understand it, prepare for it, and get through it. Track what actually matters Log your cycle, symptoms, mood, and flow in seconds. PMDDly shows you exactly where you are in your cycle using a simple weather-based system — sunny, clearing skies, clouds rolling in, full storm — so you can see the pattern instead of feeling ambushed by it every month. Crisis tools for when it's too much Build a personal Crisis Plan on a good day — your calming words to yourself, your comfort toolkit, your reasons to stay — so it's there waiting for you on the hardest ones. Quick access to grounding tools and reality checks when everything feels urgent and nothing is clear. Write to the version of you who needs it Leave messages, photos, and voice notes for your future self — timed to arrive during your next hard phase, from the version of you who already knows what helps. Notifications that actually know your pattern Get gentle reminders to log your symptoms, alerts when your phase shifts, and a nudge when someone replies to your community post or likes what you shared. But PMDDly's notifications go further: write a message to your future self during a hard moment, and it can resurface automatically next cycle, at the same phase — "here's what helped you last time." Reflect on how a cycle went, and PMDDly remembers, so next time you're not starting from zero. All of this happens without exposing anything private. Your lock screen never shows symptom details, mood scores, or anything you wouldn't want a stranger glancing at your phone to see. Bring your partner in, on your terms Link a partner with a simple invite code, and they get their own view into your cycle — built to help them actually understand what you're going through, without you having to explain it in the moment. By default, they always see your current cycle phase and period dates, so they know at a glance whether today calls for extra patience or space. If you want to share more, you can turn on full symptom and mood history sharing — completely optional, off by default, and reversible any time from Settings. When it's hard and you need them, one tap sends a support request straight to their phone — a simple, private "I need you" notification. It never includes your symptoms, mood, or any health details in the notification itself; all of that stays inside your secure account, visible to them only through the app, and only to the extent you've chosen to share it. You're always in control: adjust what's shared, or disconnect the link entirely, at any time — no explanation needed, and nothing carries over once you do. A community that actually gets it Share, vent, and read from people living the same storm — anonymously if you want, with your own name if you don't. Post, comment, and connect with people who don't need PMDD explained to them. Nourish tab Track histamine and food triggers, plan meals, and build a food diary designed around how your body actually responds across your cycle — not a generic diet tracker. Your data stays yours No ads. No analytics trackers. No selling your data — ever. Your health data belongs to you: export it, delete it, or close your account entirely, any time, from Settings. PMDDly isn't medical advice and doesn't replace your doctor — it's the tool we wished existed while we were living this. Track it. Prepare for it. Survive it. And know you're not the only one. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bearable at 6.4K against PMDDly's 4. PMDDly's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Bearable sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and PMDDly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
PMDDly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bearable has 6.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Bearable's written reviews are positive against 100% of PMDDly's.
Bearable ships an update every 8 days, PMDDly every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
