PMDDly — The Companion for Life With PMDD
PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) isn't "bad PMS." It's a real, diagnosable condition that can turn the two weeks before your period into a fight for your life. PMDDly was built by and for people who live this — to help you track it, understand it, prepare for it, and get through it.
Track what actually matters
Log your cycle, symptoms, mood, and flow in seconds. PMDDly shows you exactly where you are in your cycle using a simple weather-based system — sunny, clearing skies, clouds rolling in, full storm — so you can see the pattern instead of feeling ambushed by it every month.
Crisis tools for when it's too much
Build a personal Crisis Plan on a good day — your calming words to yourself, your comfort toolkit, your reasons to stay — so it's there waiting for you on the hardest ones. Quick access to grounding tools and reality checks when everything feels urgent and nothing is clear.
Write to the version of you who needs it
Leave messages, photos, and voice notes for your future self — timed to arrive during your next hard phase, from the version of you who already knows what helps.
Notifications that actually know your pattern
Get gentle reminders to log your symptoms, alerts when your phase shifts, and a nudge when someone replies to your community post or likes what you shared. But PMDDly's notifications go further: write a message to your future self during a hard moment, and it can resurface automatically next cycle, at the same phase — "here's what helped you last time." Reflect on how a cycle went, and PMDDly remembers, so next time you're not starting from zero.
All of this happens without exposing anything private. Your lock screen never shows symptom details, mood scores, or anything you wouldn't want a stranger glancing at your phone to see.
Bring your partner in, on your terms
Link a partner with a simple invite code, and they get their own view into your cycle — built to help them actually understand what you're going through, without you having to explain it in the moment.
By default, they always see your current cycle phase and period dates, so they know at a glance whether today calls for extra patience or space. If you want to share more, you can turn on full symptom and mood history sharing — completely optional, off by default, and reversible any time from Settings.
When it's hard and you need them, one tap sends a support request straight to their phone — a simple, private "I need you" notification. It never includes your symptoms, mood, or any health details in the notification itself; all of that stays inside your secure account, visible to them only through the app, and only to the extent you've chosen to share it.
You're always in control: adjust what's shared, or disconnect the link entirely, at any time — no explanation needed, and nothing carries over once you do.
A community that actually gets it
Share, vent, and read from people living the same storm — anonymously if you want, with your own name if you don't. Post, comment, and connect with people who don't need PMDD explained to them.
Nourish tab
Track histamine and food triggers, plan meals, and build a food diary designed around how your body actually responds across your cycle — not a generic diet tracker.
Your data stays yours
No ads. No analytics trackers. No selling your data — ever. Your health data belongs to you: export it, delete it, or close your account entirely, any time, from Settings.
PMDDly isn't medical advice and doesn't replace your doctor — it's the tool we wished existed while we were living this. Track it. Prepare for it. Survive it. And know you're not the only one.
