Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Perigold at 82% against Bergdorf Goodman's 10%. Perigold also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (8K vs 298). Bergdorf Goodman's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Perigold holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 298, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 10% of Bergdorf Goodman's written reviews are positive against 82% of Perigold's.
Bergdorf Goodman ships an update fortnightly, Perigold weekly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
