Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Kodak Luma at 4.1 against AromaTech's 1.3. Kodak Luma also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 6) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Kodak Luma holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kodak Luma has 1.9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Kodak Luma's written reviews are positive against 13% of AromaTech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
