No ability to adjust color tone. App is a lot less integrated than the app that comes with the $200 projector from Amazon.
I would accredit that to the fact that this is compact projector as opposed to full size, but that has nothing to do with how much resources are spent on making a seamless app experience.
For Kodak to charge more for less machine, just because of their name brand, it’s a put off. We pay for the name brand yes we accept this as consumers.
But we also pay for you to outshine the competitors. No one pay more for Apple just because it’s Apple. We also expect their products to outperform their competitors (especially the generic brands found on marketplace style websites).
Kodak please consider spending as much resources on the app experience as you do on the aesthetics of creating the portable device.

Won’t Pair with Projector
The app can’t find the projector. Luckily, the screen mirroring does work.

App doesn’t work. Won’t even connect to the projector and since you NEED the app to work certain features, I’m returning the projector and deleting the app.

I’m a bit frustrated as it’s been a challenge to get any more f my viseo and movie apps to connect to this little promised by toy. Was really hoping I could host a movie night for my nieces and nephews yet I can’t seem to get this device to even find the device to connect if it mirrors the phone screen it will not reproduce the actually movie or videos on the screen. I’ve only managed to get YouTube to project thankfully thus it seems YouTube will not let me rent movies due to my location (I live in Colombia now) — so ve also invested in renting a movie on Amazon Video and on Apple TV in hopes it would project — and it doesn’t— downloaded the Kodak app— have searched through all the help and support channels to see what the problem is… and nothing- I also can’t do a wired connection on HDMI because the ports on new devices now do not match — anywho I’m left with just being able to show my pictures and YouTube videos vi the projector— and look for old school hard drives with an la movies that will display via this Kodak device— great quality picture thus not fully there..

App / software needs to be updated as screen mirroring/ Airplay no longer works (not sure it’s compatible with the new IOS) but it doesn’t look like this app has been updated in four years, the apps on the Kodak store are also limited to download and don’t have Paramount+, HBO max, etc. have tried USBc to HDMI yet, frustrating cause the projector system is really good and deserves 5stars. They just need to maintain the software. Will update rating once update is made .

It’s lagging
This app can not connect two Kodak Projectors. Also one you turned off Projector it’s disappeared from the lose in app and you need d do steps all over again to reconnect the projector.

Despite being on the device hotspot, the app can’t connect, tried on multiple phones. Very poor.
Projector Never Shows Up in App
Subject says it all. I’m sitting right next to the projector, my phone and projector are connected to the same wifi, and with strong signal, but the projector just doesn’t show up in the app.

Connection to the projector failed constantly. Every time I have to waste at least 20-30 mins to figure out how to make this app connect to the projector. Waste my time and money. Trash app.
Connection and app play
This is a good projector but there are too many complicated connection issue in regards to wirelessly streaming from premium subscriptions such as Hulu & HBO ETC.
