Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Arenti at every 5 weeks against Cloudot's every 3 months. Arenti also leads on chart position (#173 vs unranked) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 250). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Arenti sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Cloudot sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Arenti against 4.6 for Cloudot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arenti has 1.9K ratings behind it against 250, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Arenti's written reviews are positive against 72% of Cloudot's.
Arenti ships an update every 5 weeks, Cloudot every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
