Stop guessing your next weight. RepXP is a strength workout log with automatic progressive overload. Set your rules once, then start each session with the right weight and rep targets already applied. Log on iPhone or leave it in the locker and train from the standalone Apple Watch app. One tap confirms a set, rest timers start automatically, and personal records are detected as you lift. A ROUTINE BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION Starting from nothing? Answer a few questions about your training days, how long you have, your goal, and your equipment, and RepXP writes the routine: a split that fits the days you picked, exercises matched to the equipment you own, sets and reps chosen for your goal, and a starting weight estimated on every exercise. Nothing is blank, and every number is one tap from being changed. AUTOMATIC PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD Define your progression once. RepXP can increase reps within your range, move the weight when you are ready, react to logged effort, and suggest a deload when progress stalls. Turning progression on comes filled in: a rep range from your goal, and a weight jump sized from the plates you own rather than a round number that does not fit your bar. FAST WORKOUT LOGGING • Confirm sets with one tap • See the active set clearly • Edit reps and weight when plans change • Track RPE or RIR by set, exercise, or session • Use automatic rest timers with Live Activities • Detect weight, rep, volume, and estimated 1RM records TRAIN PHONE-FREE ON APPLE WATCH Start and finish complete workouts from your wrist. Log sets, change reps or weight, adjust upcoming sets, and get haptic rest-timer alerts without carrying your phone. While the Watch runs a workout, tapping the banner on your phone shows the session as it stands, every set logged so far, and offers to take it over. LIVE CARDIO HEART-RATE ZONES See live heart rate and your current zone during cardio workouts on Apple Watch. On iOS 26, iPhone can also show live data from a compatible paired heart-rate source. Completed cardio workouts include average heart rate, max heart rate, and time in each zone. BRING YOUR TRAINING WITH YOU Import routines and history from Strong, Hevy, or Bolt. Import an AI-generated routine from a RepXP link or CSV. Create a readable custom export for a coach, an AI tool, or a spreadsheet. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RepXP at none against Boostcamp's shown. RepXP also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Boostcamp's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Boostcamp sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and RepXP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
RepXP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boostcamp has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Boostcamp ships an update fortnightly, RepXP weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
