Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Falconry Journal at 83% against ClickUp's 39%. Falconry Journal also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.4). ClickUp's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Falconry Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. ClickUp asks for nothing beyond the download.
ClickUp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClickUp has 10K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of ClickUp's written reviews are positive against 83% of Falconry Journal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ClickUp ships an update every 8 days, Falconry Journal weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
