Consta certifies that a document existed on a specific date and has not been altered since. That date is set by a Certification Authority using a qualified RFC 3161 timestamp — not by us. WALK THROUGH, DON’T CATALOGUE The unit is not the object: it is the room, the side of the car, the package. Photograph first; describe later, if you want. Traditional inventory apps ask for make, model and serial number before you can even take a picture. That is why most inventories never get completed. SIX MOMENTS · Home inventory, before a trip or once a year. · Rental car, before driving away. · Property, when moving in and out. · Shipment, before sealing the box. · Purchase, before the seller changes the offer. · Airbnb, before handing back the keys. THREE TYPES OF CERTIFICATE 1. INVENTORY. One timestamp covers the entire walkthrough. The resulting PDF contains the SHA-256 hash of every photograph, video and invoice and can be checked with standard signature-validation software. 2. VIDEO. One uninterrupted walkthrough, timestamped as a file. It records what was there without choosing individual photographs. 3. CONTINUOUS CAPTURE RECORD. One continuous session where every capture records its time, location, order and signature. A Merkle tree is built and its root timestamped. This lets you prove ONE photograph belonged to the session by providing only that photograph and its authentication path — without revealing the others. Each image is also captured as a Live Photo with video and audio around the shot. WHAT EACH CAPTURE CONTAINS · SHA-256 hash, calculated at capture. · Time. · GPS coordinates and accuracy, when available. · An iPhone Secure Enclave signature covering the capture data together. · The exact Consta build used. APPLE — not Consta — backs that signature through App Attest, proving the capture came from an authentic, unmodified copy of Consta running on a genuine Apple device. Photos cannot be imported: they must be taken with the app. Invoices must be scanned. VERIFY IT WITHOUT US The certificate includes the commands needed to verify: · That a file has not changed. · That its date was timestamped by a third party. · That the certificate itself has not been altered. · That a photograph belonged to the certified set without revealing the rest. · That the order of a continuous capture session has not changed. · That a capture came from an authentic app on a genuine device. Verification does not require Consta, an internet connection or even Consta continuing to exist. YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE THE DEVICE When certifying, only a 32-byte hash is transmitted. No images and no name. There is no account to create. Your files stay on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your iCloud. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS The app and inventory are free. You only pay when you certify, individually or with certification bundles that NEVER EXPIRE. A Continuous Capture Record uses five certifications. No subscriptions. WHAT IT PROVES — AND WHAT IT DOESN’T It proves that a specific document containing specific photographs existed on a specific date. It does not prove ownership, value or that what appears in a photograph reflects reality. A photograph of a screen can still be an authentic photograph. Consta proves the origin and integrity of the file, not the truth of the scene.
