Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Umo Mobility at 4.6 against VVTA AccessLink's 2.5. Umo Mobility also leads on ratings volume (5.7K vs 20). VVTA AccessLink's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Umo Mobility holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Umo Mobility has 5.7K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Umo Mobility's written reviews are positive against 17% of VVTA AccessLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Umo Mobility ships an update every 2 months, VVTA AccessLink monthly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
