Verdict
CATS and Hoofr both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Hoofr's written reviews are positive against 54% of CATS's. Hoofr also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). CATS's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 22). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
