Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bartesian at 5.0 against Pinter App's 4.1. Bartesian also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 342). Pinter App's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 42%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Bartesian holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.2K and 342 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Bartesian's written reviews are positive against 62% of Pinter App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bartesian ships an update every 4 weeks, Pinter App monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
