Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Prodigytec holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 39 and 17 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Vine Thermostat's written reviews are positive against 4% of Prodigytec's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
