What VAP is, and why it exists: my wife and I kept having the same conversation every Friday - "what are we going to do this weekend?" - and then losing an hour to a dozen venue websites, city parks pages and Facebook posts, usually finding the good stuff the week after it happened. So I built VAP for us. It is a free family-event radar for Las Vegas: it gathers publicly announced local family events into one feed you can filter by what is free, by your kids' ages, and by when - today, this weekend, this month. Every listing links straight back to the organizer's own page. We actually use it. It is how our family picks what to do most weekends, and enough friends asked for a copy that we decided to put it on the App Store instead of keeping it to ourselves. The audience is parents living in or visiting Las Vegas. A screen recording made on a physical iPhone is attached, and a summary is in the App Review Information Notes field. Answers to your questions: 1. The recording (about four minutes, one continuous take). It starts on the Home screen and launches the app, then shows: browsing the feed and switching time frames; filtering (FREE, Kids) and searching; opening events out to the organizers' own websites; saving and un-saving events; the in-app calendar and a single day's saved events; signing in via Sign in with Apple; and deleting the account ("Delete my account", confirm, then "Account deleted - you're signed out"). - Login: Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method in the iOS app. Because it is Apple-ID based there is no username/password demo account to give you - the recording shows the entire flow. Browsing requires no account at all. - Deletion: erases the account and its saved events, signs the user out, and revokes the app's Sign in with Apple grant. - No public user-generated content. Saves, thumbs and notes are visible only inside a user's own household, so there is nothing for other users to report or block. - No paid content: the app is free with no in-app purchases. 2. Purpose and audience: as above - a free Las Vegas family-events app for parents. 3. Setup: none required. The app opens straight to the feed and no account is needed to browse. Signing in with Apple only adds saving events and sharing them with a spouse via a 6-character family code. 4. External services: Cloudflare Workers (hosting and backend), Sign in with Apple (the only sign-in in the iOS app), and Anthropic's Claude server-side to help tune recommendations from a user's own saved events - both disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Event listings are aggregated from organizers' public websites and link back to them; images load from the organizer's own site. No payment processors, no advertising, and no analytics SDKs. 5. Regional differences: none. Las Vegas events only, identical in every region. 6. Not a regulated industry. VAP is an events directory: it lists publicly announced events, credits and links each one to the organizer's own page, and loads images from the organizer's site rather than rehosting them.
