App is finally functional!
After not being able to see my systems production for the last year they’ve finally got it up and running.
Unacceptable – No Access & Zero Communication
This is completely unacceptable. I’ve been locked out of my account with no prior notice, no instructions, and no communication about SunStrong Management taking over. How do you transition customers without informing them or ensuring they can even log in?
This creates serious concerns around billing, account access, and overall reliability. Customers should not have to chase down basic information just to manage their own account. Do better—this is a major failure in customer service and communication.

Login error
It’s been maybe 5 months. No one can log into the app to check production. The only way to know if your panels work is to call and speak to someone. Online only shows you your bill. Not production. It’s BS!!!!
Not Working
Stopped being able to see my solar production since February.
No customer service
We bought our house in 2022. My app started acting strange 2023- Sunnova customer service was awful- app shows wrong information- no connectivity- finally get someone out- panel wasn’t working- replaced it. WiFi said i neeeded à module they went bankrupt never heard from them. I’ve called sun strong 3x they tell me my system is working great yet my app the only way I can see what’s happening shows me estimates and 0 to very little production - I’d love for them to come remove this entire system it’s been a nightmare since day 1 of purchasing this house

Doesn’t work
Used to keep daily data in real time. Now it doesn’t even update after 48 hours.
App failure constantly
App never totally works and forget about ANY customer service from SunStrong as it is nonexistent 😡
This app is pointless.
I can’t see energy production on my home at all. My electric bill skyrocketed and I can’t even check to see if it’s a panel issue. SunStrong has zero customer support to help too. This entire thing is a joke and I’m ready to just stop payments on the panels.
Unable to login
I have tried multiple times to reset the password. Each time I enter my email to reset. The response states it sent a code to my email but I never get it. Checked spam, nothing there. Tried another email and got same results.
My solar company was bought out
Update review March 2, 2026. Still just spools and shows NO data. Also…Every time I try to use the app I have to reset my password. Even with the most recent update, it’s still a junk app. What is wrong with this company?!

Bankrupt
Everybody that had SUNNOVA PV Installed got screwed since they went into Bankruptcy. SunStrong has ‘0’ customer service. Long story short, I leased my 9 panels on my new house, 2 years later I had SUNNOVA install a Tesla Power wall 3 battery. Best thing I did, since Sunnova’s app is junk, gives wrong information on my system, and why would it, SUNNOVA has no reason to help anyone since they washed their hands in bankruptcy. Even if they were court ordered to provide the app even after bankruptcy, they have not upgraded it and it is absolutely worthless. I have my Tesla app that handles everything about my production and battery storage. I haven’t heard one good outcome about this Sunnova/ SunStrong debacle. Yah, can’t wait to have some problem come up with my system and then begin the war of trying to get someone to help..

AWFUL app
Super super basic and since it got bought out even less information is available, and almost every bit of data comes up with an error saying that it can’t be shown at this time. Completely worthless.
Don’t waste your time with this app
Sunstrong has been running me in circles trying to get billing fixed, and I thought downloading the app would help me figure out when our system first started operating (unfortunately right between the Sunnova merge), and it shows nothing. This app is garbage, and so is Sunstrong.

Always spinning
Producing energy data is always spinning and then says error. This app has never shown usage.
App is not currently functional
Before Sunnova was purchased by SunStrong I could monitor my system via the app. The app is now no longer functioning and there is no way to check on the production or health of my system. This needs to be fixed immediately!

SunStrong sucks. I can’t access my account. When I call customer service I have to select numerous prompts. Once I get to talk to someone it’s a person in the Philippines. They keep texting me that I am sending payment to the wrong address, but I am. I can’t access portal because the account number is too long.
