Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Google Voice at 4.3 against T's 1.5. Google Voice also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (62K vs 723). T's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
