Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: MTR Mobile at 4.3 against Hiking HK's 3.0. MTR Mobile also leads on ratings volume (489 vs 1) and review sentiment (39% vs 20%). Hiking HK's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
