About

HeartZone Coach

HeartZone Coach helps runners and walkers stay aware of their effort without staring at the phone. Choose an Outdoor or Indoor Run or Walk, select your target heart-rate zone, and keep moving while HeartZone Coach speaks short English cues as your effort changes. Live metrics show time, heart rate, distance, pace, steps, cadence, and moving time. Distance and pace can follow your iPhone Region measurement system, or you can choose Miles or Kilometers explicitly. Outdoor workouts use GPS and can save a route map. Indoor workouts use iPhone motion for steps and estimated distance without recording a GPS route. After finishing, review your workout metrics, step totals, time in heart-rate zones, and an outdoor route map when available. Completed workouts stay in local History, can be written to Apple Health with your permission, and can be exported as complete machine-readable JSON for your own analysis. Add Workout & Progress widgets to the Home Screen or Lock Screen for separate Walk and Run starts, contextual warnings, weekly progress, and your latest workout. Configure environment and target zone on the Workout screen; live workout metrics remain in the user-initiated Live Activity. HeartZone Coach is privacy-first: • No account or sign-in • No ads or subscriptions • No cloud sync • No cross-app tracking • Anonymous product and reliability analytics can be turned off in Settings • Analytics never include workout, Health, route, profile, export, or local-diagnostics data • Route maps are stored locally on your iPhone by default • Complete workout-history export requires your explicit action • Diagnostics exports exclude route coordinates and raw motion data HeartZone Coach is a fitness coaching tool, not a medical device. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
