Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pst Mail at 71% against UniFi Design's 23%. Pst Mail also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). UniFi Design's advantage is price (Free vs $9.99) and rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

UniFi Design holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pst Mail has 41 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Pst Mail's written reviews are positive against 23% of UniFi Design's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Pst Mail ships an update every 5 months, UniFi Design fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
