Verdict
GMX and WP Poczta both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of GMX's written reviews are positive against 18% of WP Poczta's. GMX also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 530). WP Poczta's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 19). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GMX sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. WP Poczta asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for GMX against 4.6 for WP Poczta. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GMX has 17K ratings behind it against 530, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of GMX's written reviews are positive against 18% of WP Poczta's.
GMX ships an update fortnightly, WP Poczta every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
