Can’t Access Alias Settings
I can no longer add or technically mange none of my alias gmx emails on my account. The layout has been changed and that setting has been removed from the settings menu. It’s no longer on web browser and it’s never been on the gmx app itself. This is outrageous.
Access denied again
This makes at least six times in the last two months that I have been been denied access to my email account on my desktop computer. It seems to be one of the biggest complaints that GMX has. Why can’t they fix it?

App allows a better login to access emails. Before to read email have to visit website GMX.com , but continued to receive an error message and could not read my emails or access two-factor codes. Decided to download app from apple store & it resolved the error.
Used to be great now TERRIBLE
Continuous bugs which doesn’t allow users to log in and after emailing GXX for over a month, they acknowledge it still persists.
It Was Great Until Ads Showed Up
I have had my account for a long time. I changed to a different email carrier for personal reasons. I attempted to delete my GMX account and it wouldn’t let me do it. I went where I was supposed to and the My Account area doesn’t work. I want the account gone now. If you contact me, it had better be in English.

I have been using GMX for a few years now and continue to find it nice and easy to use, not over complicated in any way. Recommend!

Crash upon opening / no inbox access
Had the service for years without issue. Now, cannot access the app without it crashing immediately.
For months now, been having an issue accessing the inbox within the app. Workaround with search, favorites, and unread. But now that the app “opens to inbox”, the app immediately crashes, leaving me without access to email.
Will find another solution imminently as this is not sustainable. And dont see how paying for any premium access could be worth this.

Used to be good
GMX mail has been around for years providing reliable service. However in ‘25 & ‘26 the app and website have become horrible to log into. I currently have no way to access our emails.
Blocked Email issues with no easy resolution.
I have recently out of nowhere had my email account in GMX that I’ve held for a decade or more suddenly just be blocked. I have tried several times to contact customer service to reset my password and account to no avail. It’s intermittent in giving me access. I have changed my password a couple times when I did somehow gain access to my Account only to closeout and come back a few days later and sign in with my new password for it to say it’s blocked again. What am I supposed to do as a customer when Support will give me very little direction?
When I have gained intermittent access, I tried to update my recovery email but cannot do it through the app. If I could update this, I could probably solve all my problems, but again the app will not allow me and I cannot get a hold of customer support to help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

What’s happened?
Out of the blue I was locked out of my account with no explanation. Despite several emails to customer support over the course of a week, I’ve not received any replies. I use my account for work, so goodness knows how many customers I’ve lost. GMX support is non-existent, and many other people are saying the same on Trustpilot. You need to get this sorted.

Service is getting worse
I've used this provider for years, but the service seems to be going downhill. When I try to sign into my webmail, I constantly get an error message. Some days it works fine and others not. It is impossible to get in touch with a human via their web page. The help section just takes you to a generic page of help articles and then round and round in circles. When you do manage to get in touch with an actual person, it takes them days and days to answer. Pretty poor service all in all.

UI Issues
I can’t access my account settings at all through the app. When I try to click the button, it straight up just doesn’t work, it pulls nothing up and shows nothing at all
Lost access twice, wrote to them twice.
I am a long-term GMX user and I have never been disappointed with GMX until this last month where I have lost access twice, if this was a casual email, it would not be that big of a deal, but it is my main account and stability is critical. I followed their prewritten instructions on both occasions because talking to a human is not an option and the suggestions that are given do not work. I would stay away from GMX until they fix their random access loss issue.
