Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bunk1 at 4.2 against Scouting's 2.0. Bunk1 also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). Scouting's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
