Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: AWS Console at 4.7 against New Relic's 3.9. AWS Console also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 75). New Relic's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

AWS Console holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AWS Console has 6.1K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of AWS Console's written reviews are positive against 46% of New Relic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

AWS Console ships an update fortnightly, New Relic every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
