About

FXV Performance

Features

FXV is an AI-coached training app for athletes who want to know why their programme says what it says. No black-box scoring. Every number ships with its formula. THE PROGRAMME A 12-week macrocycle, three 4-week mesos, written from your training history, equipment, and benchmarks. Strength + aerobic concurrent. PM sessions slot at least six hours after morning lifts so you don't blunt your own adaptation. The plan adapts every morning. HRV down 18%? The engine drops the lifting volume before you wake up. Sleep under 6 hours? Z2 instead of intervals. Cycle phase? Each one shapes the week's load. You just open the app and train. THE LOAD MODEL Two channels — mechanical kilojoules from the bar (mass × ROM × reps × set × eccentric multiplier) and cardiac TRIMP from your real heart rate. Both are saved per session. Both have a budget. The drift between prescribed and actual feeds back into next block's prescription. Per Banister 1991 + Plagenhoef 1983 segmental masses for gymnastic movements (toes-to-bar, sit-ups, etc.) so accessory work isn't double-counted. THE COACH A real LLM coach with full programme + recovery context. Ask "why is my readiness 67?" and it cites the formula plugged in with your numbers. Ask "can I move tomorrow's run earlier?" and it actually adjusts the schedule. Six tool actions: cap RPE on a lift, shorten a session, swap an exercise, skip a session, set tempo, pair supersets. HEALTH TAB Six surfaces: Recovery (4-component readiness, RHR drift, HRV trend, sleep stages), Training Load (ACWR, polarization, strain budget), Sleep (4-axis score + 14-day debt), Body (weight, VO₂, body composition, wellness check-in), Tests (FTP, 5K, 2K row, Cooper benchmark protocols), Trends (longitudinal VO₂ + strength PRs). IN-SESSION Strength: full lifts list, current set highlighted, tap-and-log, slide-up rest timer with RPE prompt. Aerobic: pace hero with green-when-on-target, live zone bar, screen-on outdoor mode for sunlight running. DEVICES Apple Health for HRV / RHR / sleep / VO₂. Direct Bluetooth pairing for Polar / Garmin / Wahoo HR straps in-session. GPS run tracking with background updates. NOT MAGIC Every formula is from peer-reviewed research, citations published at fxvperformance.com/methodology. Confidence flags surface where you have less than 14 days of data — Coach refers to them when prescribing. Free during beta. Bring your bar, your strap, and twelve weeks of intent.
