Inspired by paper planners, Finalist shows your calendar, tasks, notes, reminders and weather forecast in one beautiful timeline. It even pulls in your Journal Suggestions and Activity Rings to keep you inspired. Gorgeous themes make planning a joy, not a chore. Finalist is built for people who finish things, no complex workflows or productivity theater. NOTES, IN YOUR PLANNER Your planner remembers what you wrote. A dedicated Notes tab gives you notebooks, tags and search. Keep native notes that sync over iCloud, or connect a folder of plain markdown files, including your Obsidian vault, and edit them in place. Tasks inside your markdown files become real Finalist tasks: dated, tagged and checkable anywhere in the app. YOUR DAY, ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app puts your whole day one glance away: events, tasks, reminders and habits in one scrollable view, topped by a Now card that always knows what matters next. Check off pinned lists from the wrist, grocery list included, and add tasks by keyboard, scribble or dictation. Complications and a Smart Stack widget round it out. (Requires watchOS 26.) DESIGN YOUR DAY Choose between two Daily designs: Daybook, the classic stacked layout, or Broadsheet, a newsprint-inspired look that shines on iPad and Mac. Rearrange sections with the layout editor and save your own presets. On the rebuilt Timeline, drag tasks onto the grid to sketch your day in pencil, then commit when it's real. "I've tried dozens of planning apps, this is the one that finally works." - Beta user "The integration of Reminders and Lists reduces the apps I need daily and makes planning actually fun." - Beta user Built with native Apple technologies: no accounts to create, syncs over iCloud, supports Family Sharing, and runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Vision Pro and Mac. Full database backup, export and import via JSON and OPML. Finalist is a love letter to paper planners. Give it a try, it feels great :) Purchasing information To get the full functionality in Finalist you will need to either purchase a subscription or a one time In-App Purchase for Lifetime access. Overwhelmed by your to-do list? I created Triflow because I was too. It helps break through decision paralysis and actually start working on what matters. -- Made for ADHD & Executive Function Challenges I know the struggle of staring at a mountain of tasks and not knowing where to start. Triflow was born from my own need for something that addresses decision paralysis, improves focus, and helps build momentum with a simple approach backed by research. -- How Triflow Works (It's Simple, Really) 1 - Choose your top 3 tasks - Just three. Not twenty. This limit changed everything for me, and studies show it reduces overwhelm. 2 - Shuffle if you want - Can't decide which to do first? I added a shuffle feature so Triflow can randomize the order for you. 3 - See one task at a time - Focus on just one thing without the distraction of what's next. 4 - Track your time - Use the timer or stopwatch to maintain momentum and improve time management. 5 - Complete. Celebrate. Repeat. - Watch your progress and build confidence with each completed task. -- Why It Works Triflow is built on evidence-based strategies that research shows genuinely help with productivity challenges (see references below) - and I've experienced these benefits firsthand: • Reduces decision fatigue - Fewer choices = less paralysis and improved task initiation • Creates external structure - External support systems are proven effective for ADHD management • Visual progress tracking - Completed tasks trigger dopamine release, reinforcing positive behavior • Implementation intentions - Concrete plans dramatically improve your ability to start and finish tasks -- Features That Make the Difference • Clean, distraction-free interface - Multiple themes available to suit your visual preference • Haptic feedback - Physical prompts help maintain attention and focus • Timer alarms - Gentle reminders when time's up for better time awareness • Shuffle feature - Eliminates the "which one first?" problem that causes procrastination • Works offline - No account needed, just open and start getting things done -- In my own life, I noticed that when I was stuck in productivity paralysis, my wife would count "3, 2, 1, go!" and somehow that was enough to get me moving. I built Triflow to recreate that gentle push, helping transform overwhelm into action, one task at a time. No subscriptions. No complicated features. Just a simple tool I created to help myself focus and get things done – and now I'm sharing it with you. Download now and turn "I'll do it later" into "I did it!" -- Research References & Further Reading: • Decision fatigue and choice overload - Dr. Sheena Iyengar - https://faculty.washington.edu/jdb/345/345%20Articles/Iyengar%20%26%20Lepper%20(2000).pdf • External structure for ADHD management - Dr. Russell Barkley - https://www.russellbarkley.org/factsheets/ADHD_EF_and_SR.pdf • Dopamine reinforcement and task completion - Neuroscience of reward systems - https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352154621000644 • Implementation intentions and task initiation - Dr. Peter Gollwitzer - https://cancercontrol.cancer.gov/sites/default/files/2020-06/goal_intent_attain.pdf
