About

Penances

Features

Penance was made to encourage you to atone for your social media sins. Quit spending too much time on social media and remind yourself to unwind and stop scrolling. For every minute you spend on social media (or other apps of your choice), you owe a quick set of pushups or squats etc. Keep track of your balance, build up a bank of social media minutes for a rainy day, or build yourself into a deficit and climb back out again. Just make sure that in the end you bring yourself back to neutral. Add the widget to your lock screen to see your real-time balance and if you enable notifications you can get pinged whenever your balance hits 0 (time to close the app!) If you're going to waste your minutes at least earn them.
