Interoception Activity Tracker (IAT) is a private wellness and self-awareness companion designed to help you notice what is happening inside your body, record what you experience, and reflect on patterns over time. NOTICE Use structured body check-ins and an interactive front-and-back Body Map to capture where you notice sensations and how they feel. RECORD Save body observations alongside mood, food, hydration, notes, and everyday context. Talk Check-In also lets you speak or type what you are noticing, review a structured draft, make corrections, and choose exactly what gets saved. REGULATE Use guided breathing sessions when you want a quiet moment to slow down, reset, or refocus. Adjust breathing timing and keep a history of completed sessions. REFLECT Review Insights based on your own recorded history, explore patterns across time, and use the Reflection Center for daily, weekly, and monthly views. On supported Apple devices, optional on-device Apple Foundation Models can help create private reflections from structured journal information. YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL IAT keeps its primary journal data on your device. When iCloud sync is available, supported records can synchronize through your private Apple CloudKit database tied to your Apple Account. Diaclastic Studios does not operate a separate journal-data backend, sell IAT wellness records, or use your journal content for advertising. You can also: • Export journal data as CSV • Create PDF summaries • Make a full IAT backup for import or recovery • Protect the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication where available • Use supported Siri and App Shortcut actions to start common workflows more quickly INTEROCEPTION PRO IAT is a free download. Normal product use requires an Interoception Pro subscription. Monthly and yearly plans unlock the same complete app experience. Eligible users may receive a 14-day introductory trial through Apple. Pricing, availability, and trial eligibility are confirmed by the App Store at purchase. IAT is a wellness and self-awareness tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition. Your step goal. No excuses. StridePal is the no-nonsense step tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch that keeps you moving and out of your own way. Most step apps bury you in data, slow you down, or just get ignored. StridePal cuts through the noise. One goal. One focus. Every day. STAY LOCKED ON YOUR GOAL Always know where you stand and exactly what it takes to finish the day strong. BUILT FOR YOUR WRIST Pick the watch face that fits you: a full progress ring, or your step count in the biggest type we could fit. Swipe for trends and friends, and put those pages in whatever order you like. Your count lives on your watch face too, as a complication. WALK WITH FRIENDS Follow the people who keep you honest. See how their day is going, send a cheer when they crush it, and give everyone a photo and a color so you know who is who at a glance. 7-DAY STEP CHALLENGES Challenge a friend to seven days. Most steps wins. Everyone gets seven full days in their own time zone, and StridePal tells you when your friend's day ends before or after yours. PROGRESS THAT ACTUALLY MOTIVATES Daily and weekly stats that push you forward, not put you to sleep. Streaks, records, weekly totals, and how you stack up against last week, last month, and last year. RUTHLESSLY SIMPLE DESIGN No bloat. No fluff. Just the stuff that keeps you moving. Miles or kilometers, your call. StridePal is free to download and use. Stats and Trends is a one-time unlock, yours to keep. Sharing works like a group plan: one person subscribes and invites the others, and everyone they invite joins at no cost. Every sharing plan includes Stats and Trends for as long as it is active, so there is no reason to buy both. Prices are shown in the app before you buy anything. A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel yours in Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions. Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Interoception Activity Tracker at free against StridePal's paid. Interoception Activity Tracker also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). StridePal's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (39 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Interoception Activity Tracker against 4.9 for StridePal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StridePal has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
